The Great Delta Bear Affair is known for having fantastic live music and this year is no exception. The festival committee has put together a great lineup including country, blues, Americana and of course Elvis! The live music will begin on the Main Stage at 1 p.m.
At 1, our favorite Elvis (Tim Johnson) will take the stage, followed by Jewel Bass and These Days. Jewel Bass has recorded with R&B greats like Bobby Bland, Johnny Taylor and Barry Latimore.
At 3, CMA artist and Mississippi girl, Hannah Belle will take the stage. Hannah has opened for Sawyer Brown, Diamond Rio, Shenandoah, and other country greats. Hannah Belle is an extremely talented musician and we’re excited to welcome her to the Bear Affair.
Returning to the Bear Affair stage at 4:30 will be another Mississippi native, Zach Day. Zach’s special musical sound combines both Delta Blues with Texas Country and he has dubbed his style as “Cotton Country.” Zach has performed all over the United States and done a couple of shows in Europe.
Headliner Frank Foster will take the stage to close out the Great Delta Bear Affair around 6 p.m. As a growing presence in country music today; singer, songwriter, and producer Frank Foster has released 7 country music albums, his most recent “Til I’m Gone” debuted at #2 on the Billboard Country Album Sales Charts. Frank is sure to put on a fantastic show until it grows dark and the fireworks light up the sky.
Make plans to join us at the Great Delta Bear Affair on October 23, in Rolling Fork!
